Professional Background

Ms. Pedron is a Partner specializing in intellectual property law. She is deeply involved in litigation work involving intellectual property rights enforcement especially in the counterfeiting of famous brands. She also acts as counsel of local and foreign media outfits for issues relating to copyright.

She has an extensive experience in drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, as well as in the registration of patents and trademarks in the Philippines and in other jurisdictions.

An MCLE lecturer on intellectual property law, Ms. Pedron holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2000. She was with our Firm from 1999 to May 2003. After working with Southeast Asia's largest publicly-listed and the country’s biggest food, beverage and packaging company, she then rejoined our Firm in September 2003.

In 2005, Ms. Pedron attended an intellectual property rights training for lawyers in Tokyo sponsored by the Japan Patent Office, the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation and the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship. She is currently the Vice President of the Intellectual Property Alumni Association composed of intellectual property practitioners that have attended the same training program.
