Corporate Rehabilitation
When our laws on corporate rehabilitation were amended in 1981, the Firm practiced heavily in this relatively new field. Having taken the initiative ahead of other more established firms, majority of corporate rehabilitation proceedings were handled by the Firm. Within a short time, the Firm established a strong reputation in this area and was eventually engaged to represent bank creditors of the first corporation to be successfully rehabilitated under the new law.

For instance, we represent a U.S. multinational company in the largest mass tort action in the country, involving multiple cases filed in the different courts by at least 41,000 plaintiffs and with claims amounting to at least US$ 2.7 Billion. We also counsel clients involved in international trade disputes and before congressional inquiries and investigations, and routinely advise our foreign clients on various aspects of our nationality laws.
