Professional Background

Ms. Bunye heads the Mining & Natural Resources and Power & Energy practice groups, and is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Department, where she is primarily in charge of intellectual property commercialization, including licensing and franchising, and the registration of food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products with the Bureau of Food and Drugs. Ms. Bunye also practices corporate & commercial law.

She is a Past President of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) Philippines and serves as Chair of the Asia Pacific Committee of LES International. She has spoken in many countries, including Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, on IP licensing matters in the Philippines. She has likewise served in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in various capacities, including as Chapter President. Ms. Bunye earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 1993.
