Professional Background

Mr. Balisnomo is a Partner in the Litigation Department and Strategic & Developmental Projects Department. He specializes in civil & criminal litigation, arbitration & alternative dispute resolution, corporate rehabilitation, administrative law, and disputes involving government contracts. Mr. Balisnomo has considerable experience in the public sector. He was a Solicitor in the Office of the Solicitor General and later worked as a government lawyer and Chief of Staff of the Tanodbayan at the Office of the Ombudsman. Mr. Balisnomo earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, graduating with honors in 1997 and ranking 5th in his class. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1998. Mr. Balisnomo also holds a Bachelor of Science degree major in Legal Management from the Ateneo de Manila University, graduating with honors in 1993.
