Susan D. Villanueva Elected As President Of Intellectual Property Professors And Researchers Organization Of The Philippines (IP-PRO)

Susan D. Villanueva, a partner of Villaraza & Angangco and a professorial lecturer of intellectual property at the University of the Philippines College of Law, has been elected as the founding President of the Intellectual Property Professors and Researchers Organization of The Philippines (IP-PRO). The organization aims to promote and maintain high standards of professional competence among teachers and researchers of intellectual property.

Aside from Ms. Villanueva, IP-PRO’s prestigious roster of officers include Emma C. Francisco, former Director General of the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), as Chairman; Ferdinand M. Negre, a professorial lecturer of the Ateneo de Manila School of Law, as IP External Vice-President; C. Risel Castillo-Taleon, a professorial lecturer of the San Beda College of Law, as Internal Vice-President; Josephine R. Santiago, former IPO Deputy Director-General, as Treasurer; Andrew Ong, a member of the Philippine Judicial Academy, as Assistant Treasurer; and Atty. Rhodora Regina Reyes-Rara, as Secretary.
